Known for our warm and caring management and staff, Terrace Gardens offers outstanding kosher Jewish dining, excellent multi-level healthcare services and creative and varied recreational activities. Around-the-clock supervised care, medication administration, assistance with personal care needs, barbershop and beauty salon, housekeeping and laundry are all included.
Our dedicated staff has an inter-disciplinary approach that involves all members of our professional care team. Whether you need short-term rehabilitation, respite, trial, or continuing accommodation, Terrace Gardens ensures that you receive the finest individualized care in a secure and relaxing atmosphere. We provide 24-hour supervision, medication administration, dietary evaluation and monitoring, and assistance with daily living activities. Care services include oxygen, ostomy care, feeding tube, post cardiac/stroke rehab, transitional and post operative care. Resident physicians visit Terrace Gardens weekly, in addition to a geriatric outreach team that provides assistance with assessments, and behavioral and/or medication concerns. These services, together with psythiotherapy are covered by OHIP.
Terrace Gardens is truly a place where you can feel at home. Our unique and charming suites are complete with climate control, intercom and call bells, and private bathrooms with safety features designed specifically for our residents. You are welcome to bring your personal treasures, or use our furnishings to decorate your suite. Our main lounges and common areas are ideal for chatting with friends, enjoying a concert or simply relaxing with a good book. At Terrace Gardens, every effort is made to ensure your comfort.
Terrace Gardens is kosher under the supervision of COR, the agency dedicated to ensuring kosher standards in Ontario. A mashgiach (supervisor) is present on site during all meal preparations and service. We use only glatt kosher meat and poultry, and Cholev Yisroel milk products. Special diets and requests are always graciously accommodated. Shabbat and holidays are celebrated with delicious Jewish cuisine and delicacies. Enjoy the warm glow of Shabbat candles, and Oneg Shabbat on Friday evenings. Our Shabbat and Holiday meals include wine, challah, gefilte fish, chicken soup with matza balls, potato kugel, roast chicken, salads and mouth-watering desserts. Family and friends are always welcome to share special meals with residents in our charming private dining room.
