These days, hospital patients are often discharged before they feel truly ready to go home – even after a major illness, accident or surgery. Short-term rehabilitation can help “bridge the gap” between hospital and home and allow patients the extra time and care they need to get back to optimal functioning.   Our center offers a complete range of Subacute and post-surgical care services, to help patients regain their strength, mobility and independence. Best of all, most of our short-term rehab patients go home in six weeks or less.   Our short-term rehab services include: Occupational Therapy Physical Therapy Speech Therapy Post-Surgical Therapy Wound care/dressing Administering medications Monitoring of vital signs Therapeutic recreation

If you care for a sick or elderly relative at home, you know how hard it can be. You’re on call 24 hours a day. And too often, you don’t have the time or energy for things you used to love – visiting friends, going to a movie or out to dinner with your spouse.   We can help. Our center offers a flexible respite care program for families of caregivers. Respite care allows your elderly family member to spend time in a caring, comfortable environment staffed by health care professionals 24 hours a day. He or she will receive assistance with daily living activities, nutritious meals, and, if appropriate, opportunities for recreational activities. All regular medications will be administered and supervised by our skilled nursing staff.

The decision to enter long-term care, or place a family member in a nursing home, can be a difficult one. Sometimes, it’s the best and most compassionate choice for individuals suffering from serious disability or chronic illness such as Alzheimer’s or heart disease.   Our center offers quality skilled nursing care in a warm and home-like environment. Nutritious meals, recreational therapy, intergenerational activities, pet therapy, holiday celebrations – all of life’s little joys are part of our residents’ lives here. And of course, families and friends are always warmly welcomed to join our center family!
